Editorial

Greetings from the Editor’s Desk!

It gives me great pleasure to present Volume 37, Issue 4 of IIMB Management Review (IMR), the final issue of 2025, and to share key highlights from the fourth quarter.

This year, IMR witnessed a remarkable growth of over 30% in submissions. Our shift toward a more author-centric ABP (Author-Based Publishing) model has shortened wait times for Accepted Articles and enhanced review efficiency. Continued outreach through conference presentations, workshops, social media engagement, video abstracts, and deeper connections with stakeholders is now yielding tangible outcomes.

Our renewed emphasis on CFP-driven and collaborative Special Issues has further strengthened IMR’s mission of publishing high-quality, interdisciplinary management research. Selected papers from these initiatives will appear in forthcoming issues after completion of the rigorous IMR peer-review process.

As always, we invite you to explore the regular complement of seven articles in the December 2025 Issue of IMR.

1.      Taming the beast versus nurturing the beast: Rethinking entrepreneurship policy by Aman Bhuwania

2.      Asset quality, CSR, and profitability nexus in Indian Banks: The moderating impact of CSR by Abhijit Biswas

3.      The impact of ESG reporting on the cost of equity capital in India: The moderating role of the external auditor by Archana Patro

4.      Impact of banking penetration on stock market participation: A district-level analysis by Debasis Rooj

5.      Examining the impact of perceived hospital accreditation quality standards on patient loyalty: A Stimulus-Organism-Response theory perspective by Swapnarag Swain

6.      Leverage adjustment analytics: Effect of macroeconomic conditions on emerging economies by Ravindra Nath Shukla

7.      Impact of the COVID-19 lockdown on agriculture in a rainfed region in India: Lessons for dealing with natural and economic shocks by Rakesh Gomaji Nannewar
