Editorial

Greetings from the Editor's Desk!

I am pleased to present the first Issue of the New Year and some notable highlights from IIMB Management Review (IMR).

The 16th edition of the IMR Doctoral Conference (IMRDC), on the 17th & 18th of January 2025, brought together eminent academics, doctoral scholars, students, and practitioners from across the country and overseas for two days of intense academic engagement. More information on the Conference is available at https://www.iimb.ac.in/imrdc2025/ .

In keeping with IMR's commitment to excellence in academic publishing, the journal is taking a step toward article-based publishing, a move considered particularly beneficial to authors. This measure is intended to make publication timelines more efficient, and IMR looks forward to paving the way forward on this front.

This Issue brings you a Special Section of four articles from the 9th BAI Conference held at IIMB. Select Papers from the above Conference on Business Analytics and Intelligence that made it to publication are "An innovative modelling framework for freight consolidation in transportation planning" by Manoj Kumar and K. P. Anoop; "Targeting audience personas with programmatic geographic segments using unsupervised methods" by Viraj Noorithaya; "What elements of the opening set influence the outcome of a tennis match? An in-depth analysis of Wimbledon data" by Kapil Gupta, Vijayshankar Krishnamurthy, and Soudeep Deb; and "A set of linearised partially parallel splitting methods for separable convex programs" by Jitamitra Desai and Kai Wang. We thank Prof. Dinesh Kumar, IIMB, and Ms Shailaja Grover, Guest Editor, for their support in anchoring this special section.

The Issue also includes three regular research articles: "Navigating office politics: How do self-concept and upward voice influence women’s workplace well-being?" by Apoorva Goel, Nabila Khan, and Lata Dyaram; "Organisational healing in VUCA times: A theoretical refinement" by Aditya Agrawal, Ashish Pandey, and Payal Kumar; and "War-driven attention and cryptocurrency returns: The case of the Russia–Ukraine war" by Arushi Verma and Madhumita Chakraborty.

We look forward to your continued engagement with the Journal and welcome any valuable observations that you may have, as we seek to engage with our readers on contemporary and topical issues related to management. We will continually raise the bar of excellence for IIMB Management Review.

Best Wishes,

Sushanta K Mishra
