Greetings from the Editor’s Desk!

It is my pleasure to present Volume 37: Issue 3 of IIMB Management Review, and the highlights from the third quarter of the year.

Through the years, the IMR Round Table Series has remained one of the journal’s most well-regarded features, by downloads and citations. Conceived as a bridge between academia and practitioners, the objective of the round table feature has been to present rich insights into how important management and policy issues play out on the ground. The September 2025 issue of IMR features the Round Table discussion – Global Capability Centres: Emerging Opportunities and Challenges with insights from GCC leaders in India. The Academic Perspective for the Round Table discussion is provided by Professor Srivardhini Jha, IIMB, and Dr Anilesh Seth from NSRCEL, IIMB, who also moderated the discussion.

The Round Table presents rich insights into the various opportunities and challenges in the GCC ecosystem in India. The ensuing article captures the conversation thematically and provides incisive takeaways for the reader. Going beyond a verbatim reportage of the discussion, the article is a structured attempt to systematically delineate four macro-themes, with a nuanced exploration of each theme. The insights in the discussion are further enhanced with excerpts from the panelists. The endeavour is to capture the GCC landscape in India and provide a framework to understand the existing and projected realities.

We invite our readers to register as Delegates for the IMR Doctoral Conference (IMRDC 2026) scheduled on the 9th and 10th January 2026 at IIMB. The CFP for the annual Doctoral Colloquium received 114 submissions from across geographies and disciplines. Review processes are now underway for the final selection of papers, which will be invited for presentation at the Conference. IMRDC features two full days of intense academic engagement and networking opportunities for interested delegates for an enriching exchange of ideas.
