Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management inauguration on 27 September
Former Finance Secretary, GoI, Dr. Hasmukh Adhia to address the 21st batch; registration formalities to be conducted on 25 Sept
20 September, 2024, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore will host the inauguration and orientation of the 21st batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM) on 27 September 2024. The sessions will be held in a hybrid format. The inaugural speech will be delivered by Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, IAS (Retd.), Former Finance Secretary, Government of India, who is a gold medalist from PGPPM Cohort 1.
On 25 September 2024, the registration formalities will be conducted by the Admissions and PGPPM Office, followed by a briefing by the Computer Centre staff. These sessions will be held online, at Q-105.
The inauguration of the PGPPM batch of 2024-25, to be held on 27 September 2024, will be held in a hybrid format in Q-101. The welcome address will be delivered by Prof. Arnab Mukherji, Chairperson, Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management and faculty of the Public Policy area of IIMB. Dr. Gopal Naik, Senior Fellow, Chairperson and Jal Jeevan Mission Chair Professor at the Centre for Public Policy, IIMB, will speak on ‘Policy Context at IIMB’. A session on, ‘Learning and Teaching via the Case Method’ will be held by Prof. Ganesh N Prabhu, Chairperson and faculty, Strategy area. The Internal Committee Session will be led by Prof. Rajalaxmi Kamath, Chairperson, Internal Committee and faculty of the Public Policy area of IIMB. The event will also include sessions conducted by the IIMBx team on, ‘Emerging Trends in Online Learning: Shaping the Future of Education’, ‘Blending Traditional and Digital: A Hybrid Approach’ and ‘Navigating the Digital Classroom’. The PGPPM Class Representative will also address the new batch.
On 28 September 2024, there will be PGPPM programme briefing for the incoming batch and on 30 September, a session on overview of the library and services.
