Surendra Babu Talluri is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. His research explores the individual resources and behaviors that help working professionals build successful and sustainable careers. He also received the ‘Outstanding Reviewer Award’ from the Careers Division of the Academy of Management, USA.
He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. Before joining the doctoral program, He worked as a Human Resources Executive in Coal India Limited for over eight years, managing a strength of more than 2500 employees. During this period, He worked in various capacities with hands-on experience in several HR practices related to payroll, career development, performance management, and industrial relations.

His research interests include career success, career sustainability, and career competencies.
