Centre for Public Policy to host ‘Water & Sustainability Conference’ on September 2 & 3 as part of Golden Jubilee Year celebrations at IIM Bangalore

Expert talks, panel discussions and presentations will mark the theme ‘Measurable Impact, Delivered with Confidence’

23 AUGUST, 2023: The Centre for Public Policy (CPP) at IIM Bangalore will host a ‘Water and Sustainability Conference’ on 2nd & 3rd September 2023. This conference is part of the Golden Jubilee Year celebrations of IIM Bangalore and is curated by IIT-IIT (IITians for Influencing India Transformation - iit-iit.org). It is themed, “Measurable Impact, Delivered with Confidence”. 

The conference will begin with a talk on ‘Water Imperatives for India by Mridula Ramesh, Founder, Sundaram Climate Institute, and author of ‘Watershed’. This will be followed by a presentation on ‘Beed District Water Transformation’ by Caring Friends and Consortium of Foundations. There will be sessions by corporations like Asian Paints and ITC on Day 1 of the conference, post lunch.

On Day 2, Satyajit Bhatkal, CEO, Paani Foundation, will speak on ‘Realizing the Farmers Producers Organisations’ Opportunity’. His talk will be followed by a presentation by Ambuja Cement Foundation. The Center for Collective Development will make a presentation on ‘Processed Groundnut B2B Market Linkages’. The closing address will be delivered by Kris Gopalakrishnan, Chairman, Axilor Ventures.
