IIMB’s Sports Council and Student Alumni Committee to host sports tournament ‘Shaurya’ on 23rd and 24th September
Themed on, ‘Uniting Generations, Igniting Spirits!’, tournament to see IIMB student community and alumni from across batches clashing in various sporting events
18 September, 2023, Bengaluru: The Sports Council and Student Alumni Committee of IIM Bangalore will host the two-day sports tournament ‘Shaurya’ on 23rd and 24th September 2023, themed on, ‘Uniting Generations, Igniting Spirits!’
The event will see IIMB alumni return to the campus, relive the thrill of competition, reconnect with old friends and forge new bonds with the current batch. The IIMB student community and alumni from across batches will clash in various sporting events during this two-day tournament.
Day One will start at 10 am with the inauguration at the sports ground. A host of sports contests will be held from 10.30 am to 7 pm, at the sports ground and sports facilities. These will be followed by the ‘Cultural Night’, from 9 pm onwards.
On the second day, sports events will take place from 8 am to 5 pm and the closing ceremony will be held from 6 pm to 7 pm.
The tournament will include Cricket, Kho-Kho, Football, Frisbee, Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis, Basketball, Kabaddi, Squash, Carrom, Chess, Volleyball, Throwball, Snooker/Pool and Swimming.
