22 May, 2024, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore is set to welcome students to its two-year fulltime MBA programmes: Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGPBA), 2024-2026 batch, with an inauguration and orientation program from 10 to 24 June 2024.
The inauguration ceremony on 10 June will feature a keynote address by Chief Guest and IIMB alumnus PC Musthafa, Founder and CEO, iD Fresh Food India Pvt. Ltd.

The inauguration will also include addresses by Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore; Prof. Manaswini Bhalla, Chairperson, Post Graduate Programme in Management and PGP in Business Analytics, and faculty of the Economics area of IIMB; Prof. Mukta Kulkarni, Dean, Programmes, Chairperson, Office of International Affairs, and faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area of IIMB; Prof. Sourav Mukherji, Dean, Alumni Relations & Development, and faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area of IIMB, and Prof. Kunal Dasgupta, Chairperson, Admissions & Financial Aid, and faculty of the Economics area of IIMB.
The event will include the recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Awards (DAA) for 2024 being felicitated, and acceptance speeches by the DAA award winners. Announcements of the Director’s Merit List, Director’s Honours List and other scholarships will also be made. This will be followed by an address by the Students' Affairs Council (SAC) President Shubham Jagtap on Life at IIM Bangalore. The inauguration ceremony will end with a cultural program.
The orientation program from 11 to 24 June will cover interaction of the new students with faculty members and other senior officials (Deans, Chairpersons, etc.) of the school regarding introduction to the programmes, learning online, administrative matters, IIMB’s other programmes, activities, centres, committees, facilities, policies, and more. Interaction with alumni groups has been scheduled as well.
About the Chief Guest: PC Musthafa, famously known as the batter king, is the Founder and CEO of iD Fresh Food, which offers fresh and preservative-free ready-to-cook food items. He is an alumnus of IIMB’s Post Graduate Programme in Software Enterprise Management (PGSEM), batch of 2004-07. He was one of the recipients of IIMB’s Distinguished Alumni Awards in 2018.
A native of Wayanad, PC Musthafa is today the owner of a 4000-crore business empire, featured prominently on the cover of Forbes India. His success story through hard work and determination makes him a role model and source of inspiration for many.
