Workshop to unearth potential of trust in empowerment of individuals as well as organizations
10 June, 2024, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore, in partnership with ISD Global, will conduct a Trust Lab Programme, in the form of a workshop, on 6 July 2024, at the auditorium of the institute.

Building an organization that has trust at its edifice warrants a ground up approach with a much broader perspective than conventionally encouraged or practiced. Trust is a crucial asset to enable performance and impact. Organizations practicing (or willing to practice) a model that champions the trust and inspire approach, will reap significant benefits of what unfolds.
The first-of-its-kind Trust Lab at IIM Bangalore is an endeavor to unearth the immense potential that trust can unleash – the power, the aura and the energy that it can bring into organizations - both intra and inter, and the empowerment, respect and recognition that it can accord to individuals. The day long workshop involving thought leaders and business leaders is aimed at participants seeking to make significant impact.
Other than networking opportunities, the workshop will include presentations, plenary sessions, panel talks, Q&A sessions, and more. Certificates will be distributed to the participants at the end of the workshop.
Explaining the importance of the workshop, Prof. Sourav Mukherji, Dean, Alumni Relations & Development and faculty in the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area, says, "In an era governed by quarterly numbers and diktats of shareholders, I believe trust can not only be a catalyst for positive, long lasting change, but also align with shareholder compulsions while remaining sensitive to compassionate capitalism. If I dare, I would find a way to get trust well and truly entrenched in the balance sheet and find a way to measure the return on investment it delivers."
