3 December, 2024, Bengaluru: The Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability (CCGS)—a Centre of Excellence at IIM Bangalore, and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) will jointly host a two-day workshop on ‘Effective Risk Governance & Boards’, on 23 & 24 January 2025 at IIMB.

The fast-evolving business landscape requires the Board of Directors to possess a deep understanding of cyberspace, including the strategic risks and opportunities it presents. Cyber threats are now a primary concern for Board members as they pose a credible risk to reputation, financial health and overall organizational sustainability. Cybersecurity has become an important topic for boards to engage in proactively and develop protection strategies. Boards face mounting pressure from stakeholders and regulatory bodies, demanding the need for enhanced cyber security oversight and expertise in the board room. Professors and subject experts from IIM Bangalore and IICA will address the sessions.
