EPGP and PGPEM students to host free prosthetics limb donation camp as part of Prayaas Initiative
To be held on 9 February, the event seeks to provide free prosthetic limb fitments to the first 50 registered candidates
28 January, 2025, Bengaluru: Prayaas, a social responsibility initiative by the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGEPM) students of IIM Bangalore, will host a free prosthetics limb donation camp, in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (Jaipur Foot), on 9 February 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the IIM Bangalore campus, Bannerghatta Road. The student-run effort, rooted in IIMB’s mission of building socially responsible leaders, seeks to support differently-abled individuals from BPL categories.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Beneficiaries must provide a BPL card and Aadhaar card.
- Wounds must be at least 4 months old, and a photograph of the wound will be required during registration.
The free prosthetic limb camp will consist of three types of prosthetic limb fitments – above-knee prosthetics, callipers and below-knee prosthetics. The event is set to accommodate the first 50 registered candidates.
