RBI appoints Dr M S Sriram to advisory team on Small Finance Banks

Professor M S Sriram, Visiting Faculty, IIM Bangalore, has been appointed to the External Advisory Committee (EAC) of the Reserve Bank of India that will process the applications for the new Small Finance Banks.
The External Advisory Committee for Small Finance Banks has Usha Thorat, former Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India, as Chairperson; and M S Sahoo, Secretary, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), M S Sriram, Professor at IIM Bangalore & Distinguished Fellow of Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), and M Balachandran, Chairman, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) as members
