IIMB observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with Unity Run
Students, alumni, faculty and staff participate in the event
Commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, IIMB celebrated 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' with a 3-km Unity Run on October 31 (Friday).
Enthusiastic students, alumni, faculty and staff were flagged off at 7:00 a.m. near the Main Administrative Building by Col. (Retd.) Raghbir Singh, Chief Administrative Officer, IIMB. "It doesn't matter whether you come first, or if in the middle of the pack, or you come I last. You only need to say, 'I have finished the run'," said a spirited participant.
The runners also took a pledge to stand united for the country and to work with a vision. Dr. Sourav Mukherjee, Chairperson, Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), and Dr. Rahul De, Chair Professor, Hewlett-Packard, also participated in the event.
