IIMB tops 2013 Deans’ Vote Survey
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has bagged the top place among business schools in the Central Asia Region in the Eduniversal Awards based on Deans' Vote Survey.
"The award and the international recognition that it brings with it mean a lot to us. With Eduniversal, the awards are more broad-based and not formula-driven. As IIMB is on the path of internationalization, excellence in research, and innovation, we value such recognition," said Dr. Devanath Tirupati, Director In-charge, IIMB, after receiving the award from Dr. Aneeta Madhok, Member, ISC, Eduniversal, France.
IIMB is followed by IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta in the rankings for the Central Asia region.
Other colleges that bagged top ranks include Harvard Business School and Yale School of Management in North America; National University of Singapore Business School and China's Fudan University School of Management in the Far East Asia region; London Business School and Copenhagen Business School in Western Europe etc.
The Gala Awards, on the evening of October 9, began and ended on a vibrant note with a spectacular performance by kathak artistes from the Abhinava Dance Company, led by Nirupama and Rajendra.
