22 January, 2025, Bengaluru: Ashapurna Das, a NSR Pre-Doctoral Fellow in the OB&HRM area, has been awarded the IB Track 2nd Best Paper Award at the 10th INDAM Conference 2025, for her research on entrepreneurial failure, conducted with Prof. Apurva Sanaria, OB&HRM area.

‘Entrepreneurial Impression Mismanagement: The Role of Resilience and Affordable Loss’, takes a contrarian view towards impression management literature, which commonly focuses on the successful delivery of impressions, rather than poorly executed outcomes.

With their enquiry of how entrepreneurs can effectively recover from failures at pitch competitions, they uncover important insights on timely grief recovery through purposeful action.
