Professor Harsh V Pant awarded the K Subrahmanyam Award for Excellence in Research on Strategic and Security Issues

Professor Harsh V Pant, currently visiting faculty at IIMB, received the K Subrahmanyam Award for Excellence in Research on Strategic and Security Issues conferred by the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) at the 44th Foundation Day held at New Delhi on November 26, 2009.
Professor Pant was awarded for his outstanding contribution to the field of strategic studies. He was felicitated by Union Defence Minister Mr A K Antony.
Dr Harsh V Pant teaches at King's College London, and is presently a visiting professor at IIMB. He joined the Defence Studies Department, King's College London in January 2006 after completing his doctorate at the University of Notre Dame (USA).
Also an Associate with the Centre for Science and Security, King's College London, Professor Pant's current research is focused on nuclear proliferation and Asia-Pacific security issues.
