IIMB to host conference on Emerging Challenges of Corporate Governance on June 14-15, 2019

05 June 2019, Bengaluru: Indian Institute of Bangalore’s Centre for Corporate Governance and Citizenship (CCGC), in collaboration with Florida International University College of Business (FIU Business), USA will host the 2019 Corporate Governance Conference on June 14th and 15th at the IIMB campus.
The conference aims to provide a unique platform where academics, practitioners, corporate executives and regulators can get together to understand the intricacies of corporate governance practices, regulations and their costs and benefits to various stakeholders in India and USA. It will be an opportunity for the stakeholders of global businesses to understand how various economic, cultural and social norms interact to produce an optimal set of governance policies.
In addition to the research presentations on the first day, there will be panel discussions involving participants from the industry and regulators the next day.
The program committee consists of Professor Rejie George Pallathitta, faculty from the Strategy area, IIM Bangalore, and Professor Arun Upadhyay, Department of Finance, FIU Business
