Projects led/ initiated in district

  • Skill training program for 12 children of former Devadasis in Agarbatti making. 

  • Conceptualised and implemented ‘Svavalambi Kushalakarmi – 3-day Social media marketing training program for 22 SHGs and small artisans’ and onboarded them on Facebook community pages. 

  • Initiated and organised a district level skill logo design competition to raise awareness, and designed an anonymous voting link to choose top 3 winners at the 9th District Skill Committee meeting 

  • Conceptualised, prototyped in collaboration with pencilbricks Foundation to implement Industry Ready Steady Go! – digital quiz competition to raise awareness around INR 4600 crore TATA Technologies 150 ITI upgradation program across 6 ITIs in Vijayapura for 336 candidates. 

  • Initiated and co-ordinated with fellows from Dharwad, Bangalore Rural, Shivamogga, Haveri and Uttar Kannada and the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts to identify 16 artisans for their CSR funded 5-day E-Nurture export and design intervention training program, and onboard them on a b2b portal. 

  • Conducted a tracer study for 202 CEDOK EDP training beneficiaries and shared the findings with CEDOK, Dharwad. 

  • Facilitated an MoU between TRABACES Alternate Industries pvt. ltd and Govt. ITI Vijayapura for soft skills training and internship at their e-mobility start-up based out of Vijayapura.
