The paper, titled: ‘Interplay of Smart Data Pricing Regimes and Emerging Network Service Provider Roles in the Internet Value Chain’, got the recognition at the 24th International Conference of the Society of Operations Management
18 November, 2021, Bengaluru: A paper titled, ‘Interplay of Smart Data Pricing Regimes and Emerging Network Service Provider Roles in the Internet Value Chain’, co-authored by Sudha Madhavi Dastrala, doctoral student IIMB, and Prof. Rajeev R. Tripathi of the Production & Operations Management area, has won the best paper award (second position) at the 24th Annual International Conference of the Society of Operations Management (SOM) organized by XLRI Jamshedpur. The SOM Conference 2021 was held from November 12 to 15, 2021.
The SOM Conference 2021 welcomed submissions in the form of research papers and received tremendous response from academicians and practitioners. Some of the topics for submissions included: Logistics Management, Game Theory, Sharing Economy, Supply Chain Disruptions, Supply Chain Management in the Digital Era, Transportation and Network Models, Operations Strategy, Healthcare Operations, Humanitarian Logistics, Mathematical Programming and Optimization Techniques, and many more. Based on the feedback received from track-chairs, the organizing team selected some of the papers to be awarded as the best papers.
