Tumkuru district, Karnataka: Gap analysis of knowledge, practice, and attitudes of school students for WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene)

The first field visit was at Nonavinakere High School in Tiptur; the second was at Gundanahalli Primary School and DV Halli High School in Madhugiri; and the third was at the Nonavinakere High School and Primary School of Karnataka Public School (KPS) in Tiptur.

Yadgir district, Karnataka: Role of NGOs in enhancing sustainability of drinking water systems

The objective was twofold – establish collaboration with Kalike, a Tata Trust organization, and identify and explore research gaps in the implementation of the JJM scheme in the region.

Arsikere taluk, Hassan district, Karnataka: Pre-JJM MVS systems and their adaptations

The JJM-IIMB team studied the Gandasiulti Village Scheme (MVS) in Arsikere. It is one of the largest MVS schemes in Karnataka as it covers 143 villages.
