Dr. David Meyer, an assistant professor in Civil and Global Engineering at the University of Toronto, focuses on enhancing the wellbeing of communities reliant on intermittent water supply systems. Professor David Meyer completed his PhD and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at MIT. His research involves developing innovative methods for measuring, modeling, and improving the operation of these networks. With over a decade of experience collaborating with utilities in India, including Delhi and Bengaluru, Dr. Meyer’s work has been featured in leading engineering journals and prominent newspapers. His latest research examines the resilience of rural piped water systems, directly informing the Jal Jeevan Mission's design and operation.
