IIMB’s Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL)
Introduction
Faculty members at IIMB generate knowledge through cutting-edge research in all functional areas of management that will benefit public and private sector companies, and government and society in general. The knowledge generated by IIMB faculty has appeared in leading academic journals with high citation index and impact factor.
Many textbooks and working papers are written on a regular basis. Research carried out by IIMB is used to augment new courses and executive education programmes.
IIMB has always been a hub of innovative activity and faculty members collaborate with the industry as well as other academic institutions the world over. They are continuously on the lookout for opportunities to add to the body of knowledge in their chosen fields. Innovation and research at the Institute has been given a fillip with the establishment of Centres of Excellence that focus on specific needs of different specialized areas and industries, ranging from Public Policy and Corporate Governance to Insurance, Financial Markets and Risk Management. The NSRCEL is a catalyst for entrepreneurial activity and a well-known incubation center for start-up ventures.
Nurturing Future Leadership Program, September 2024
IIM Bangalore is launching the second batch of Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP) under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, Ministry of Education.
Dates: September 16-20, 2024
Venue: IIM Bangalore Campus, Jigani
Eligibility: Faculty members teaching in centrally funded and state-funded public universities/institutions, with minimum three years of teaching experience.
How to Register: The eligible faculty members should get nominated by their respective institutions and upload the nomination letter on the MMTTC Portal (https://mmc.ugc.ac.in/). Please double-check that the uploaded documents are for the Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP) while registering on the portal.
