IIM Bangalore team adjudged second runner-up in college track in Rajagiri National Business Quiz
10 February, 2021, Bengaluru: A team from IIM Bangalore, comprising students Pratyush Goel and Parantap Singh, finished second runner-up in the college track of the Rajagiri National Business Quiz, which is one of the biggest business quizzes in the country held annually. The current 11th edition of the quiz saw participation from over 4500 college as well as corporate teams. The online preliminary rounds were held on January 09, 17 and 20, 2021, while the finale was held online on February 06, 2021.
In the student category, SJMSOM IIT Bombay bagged the first prize while Osmania Medical College and IIM Bangalore were the runners-up.
Out of the 4554 registrations received for the contest this year, 3360 were student registrations and 1194 were corporate registrations. The Quiz Master was Mitesh Agarwal, CTO and Director, Google Cloud India.
In the corporate category, the competition was open to all corporate organizations, financial institutions, public sector undertakings, media companies, NGOs, etc. In the student category, it was open to full-time students from educational institutions and universities, except school students up to Class XII.
