Professor Gopal Naik joins the Editorial Board of Journal of Agribusiness in Developing and Emerging Economies
Dr Gopal Naik, Professor of Economics & Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), has joined the Editorial Board of the Journal of Agribusiness in Developing and Emerging Economies (JADEE). JADEE is the first journal focusing exclusively on agribusiness in developing and emerging economies across the world and it aims to showcase research which will eventually positively impact the well-being of people's lives in these regions.
JADEE showcases research about the Agriculture and food value chains and their implications for economic and societal development and public policy in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
JADEE interprets agribusiness as a discipline that studies the food and agriculture system: the individual elements, their interdependencies and their impact. JADEE seeks to serve the needs of academics, researchers, and policy-makers as the leading forum for the dissemination of ideas that probe the synergies between the relevant traditional disciplines - the study of the agricultural food chain and the business value chain - with the ultimate goal of elevating the well-being and livelihood of people in developing and emerging economies. The journal seeks to be at the nexus of science, technology, public policy, and business, all of which interact to contribute to a healthy society and a sustainable economy.
