The 12th webinar of the Masterclass Series ‘Being Future Ready’ will be led by J. Satyanarayana, Chief Advisor, Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution India (C4IR), World Economic Forum

20 November, 2023, Bengaluru: The Centre for Software & Information Technology Management (CSITM) at IIM Bangalore, in association with the Wadhwani Institute of Technology & Policy (WITP), will conduct a webinar titled, ‘Being Ready for the Future of Healthcare’, on 30th November 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The webinar will be led by J. Satyanarayana, Chief Advisor, Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution India (C4IR), World Economic Forum. His talk will be followed by a Q&A session.

This would be the twelfth webinar of the Masterclass Series titled: ‘Being Future Ready’, which is a series featuring industry experts who have implemented digital transformation projects in government or other large enterprises.

Speaker details: J. Satyanarayana was a member of the Indian Administrative Service for 37 years. He held several positions in IT and related areas, including as Secretary, Government of India, Department of Electronics & IT and Chairman (part-time), Unique Identification Authority of India (Aadhaar).

He was associated with over 20 major e-Government projects at the state and national levels. These include e-Seva, Passport Seva, MCA21, Bangalore One, APOnline, and eTaal. He was instrumental in the design of several policies in the ICT sector at the national level in India, including the policies on cybersecurity and on adoption of cloud technologies (MeghRaj). 

His recent contributions have been around Enterprise Architecture and Ecosystem Architecture. These include India Enterprise Architecture (IndEA), Agile IndEA, National Digital Health Blueprint (NDHB) and National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR). 

He has been advising the centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, India, World Economic Forum since 2020, on projects related to responsible deployment of emerging technologies in the sectors of agriculture (AI4AI), health (FIRST Cancer Care), and education (Education 4.0). 

He advised the WHO South-East Asia Regional Office during February to September 2023 on implementation of digital health programs in the member states. He published two books - ‘e-Government, The Science of the Possible’ (2003) and ‘Managing Transformation: Objectives to Outcomes’ (2012).
