Book: 'Women who ventured', authored by Ganesh N Prabhu, Professor,Corporate Strategy & Policy, IIMB

Abstract: This book includes the personally most inspiring case selected by each of the eight authors of start-up case books on alumni of the Management Program for Women Entrepreneurs written during paid student internships at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore during 2009 to 2015. While the program has been a catalyst for startups by its alumni over the years, writing their start-up stories has also been inspiring for these eight students who wrote their stories. They took keen interest in all the entrepreneurs they met and went beyond their internship requirements to design the book and to market it effectively through their social circles. The seven books all available from pothi.com are Inspiring Women to Start Innovative Enterprises by Sria Majumdar (2009), A Tryst with Women Entrepreneurs by Sharika S. Nair (2010), Zeitgeists: New Age Women Entrepreneurs by Irene Mary Varughese (2011), Biz-Inked by Alisha Arora and Divya Nandwana (2012), Business Buzz: A Rendezvous with Women Entrepreneurs by Sonali Jain (2013), The Road Not Taken by Pooja Rai (2013), Unravelling the Myth by Priyanka Gupta (2015).
