IIMB upholds management excellence, placed among top global 50 in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025

13 March, 2025, Bengaluru: The release of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings By Subject 2025 have reaffirmed IIM Bangalore’s global standing, placing among top 50 institutes for Business and Management Studies worldwide. Notably, the Institute is one of only two B-schools from India to feature in the top 50.
The QS methodology evaluates reputation and research indicators across Employer reputation, High Index citations, Citations per Paper and Academic Reputation. IIMB earned an Employer reputation score of 81.9, and a High Index citations score of 80.7 out of 100.
The quality and innovation of IIMB’s curriculum, coupled with the global expertise of its faculty, remain central to the Institute’s academic approach. The dynamics of learning and development, ensuring alignment with contemporary market demands, account for workforce diversity and digital transformation through industry foresight and research innovation. A sustained focus on Information Systems, Finance, Public Policy, and Entrepreneurship continues to shape a curriculum designed to engage with some of the most complex challenges industries face today.
