The IIMB faculty body is a rich amalgam of experience and knowledge. The Centre was among the first to be accredited as the National Centre for Excellence by the National Foundation for Corporate Governance, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The Centre has engaged in the development of board-and-top level directors and executives and helped in creating the highest standards of corporate governance and citizenship in private, public and civil society. CCGCS also provides policy support to government, regulators, standard setters, professional and industry bodies on corporate governance and citizenship legislation, regulation, self-regulation, and moral suasion. The Mission of Israel centre is to act as a hub for research on Indo-Israeli interactions in the fields of technology innovation, business strategy and history, government policies and culture, by uniting scholars, business community and students. This centre was founded with the aim to become a leading research and networking hub to pursue international, interdisciplinary, and comprehensive research on mutual areas of interest between India and Japan, and to provide students, researchers, business managers and policymakers with a deeper understanding of Japanese and Indian businesses. The Centre for Software and Information Technology Management (CSITM) is the IIMB’s centre of excellence on digital technology management. It fosters close links with the burgeoning IT sector in India, especially with the technology hub of Bengaluru. It is also connected globally with management researchers from top universities, practitioners from global tech companies and start-ups, reputed policymakers of India, and expert intellectuals from different parts of the world. IIMB has been actively pursuing Supply Chain Management as a major area of teaching and research. While high quality content is available almost free of charge, it is becoming increasingly challenging to capture the attention and imagination of students.
