IIMB Vision

Our vision is to be a global, renowned academic institution fostering excellence in management, innovation and entrepreneurship for business, government and society.

To realize this vision, we continue to work on initiatives like hiring high-quality faculty, enhancing the quality of research, emphasizing internationalization, expanding our activities in the field of entrepreneurship, scaling up student intake in all programmes, deepening our engagement with the alumni, improving infrastructure, and improving administration and governance. Today, IIMB has 107 full-time faculty members, about 1,200 students across various degree-granting programmes, and nearly 5,000 annual Executive Education participants.

Along with 11 disciplinary areas, IIMB has ten centres of excellence that offer courses and conduct research on interesting questions facing various sectors of industry. By contributing to IIMB, donors actively promote and support academic excellence. Donations enable the institution to enhance and create educational programs, facilities, and resources, fostering an environment conducive to high-quality learning and research.

Research Advancement

Faculty members at IIMB generate knowledge through cutting-edge research in all functional areas of management that benefit public and private sector companies, and government and society in general. The knowledge generated by IIMB faculty has appeared in leading academic journals with high citation index and impact factor. Many textbooks and working papers are written on a regular basis. Contributions to IIMB help fuel research initiatives that push the boundaries of knowledge, yielding valuable insights and practical solutions, and fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity.

Access and Diversity

Leadership Development: Since 1973, IIMB has played a pivotal role in nurturing future leaders for the country and the world at large. Besides offering one doctoral and four master’s degree programmes, IIMB works with governments and corporates alike to offer transformational programmes to future industry leaders, entrepreneurs, social workers, and public servants.
