In the three odd decades since I graduated, I have realised that I am a keen, and ongoing, student of business (did not know this when I registered for my MBA!). IIM Bangalore set-up the foundation for that journey. I am eternally grateful for what I learnt there as well as the calibre of people I met there.
Being an alumnus of one of the top education institutions in Asia, provided me a platform to pursue a career of my choice and shape it well. I strongly believe that each and every person is entitled to get a high-quality education. However, there are many deserving students who are not able to get access to higher education in world-class institutes due to financial constraints. It’s my endeavor to support them in whatever way I can and I am grateful to my alma mater IIMB which has enabled me to do so. I wish all the very best to IIMB and the current and future generation of students
I will forever remain indebted to IIMB. IIMB has been the gift that keeps giving - it provided me with the education, launchpad, and peer network to excel in a highly fulfilling career. Being a part of the IIMB ecosystem has been my privilege. My contribution to the institute is a humble attempt to give back a little from where I have gained so much. I hope that just as the institute transformed my life and career, my contribution can further the institute's cause as it transforms the lives and careers of many more.
Hearty congratulations to IIMB for the upcoming 50th year anniversary. I am forever indebted to the Institution for equipping me with the skills and recognition to be a Business Leader. I wish all the very best to IIMB in the future endeavors and growth pathways.
It is no exaggeration to say that IIM Bangalore changed our lives. For young 20+ olds growing up in military families, the institute opened up a world of business and opportunity that we had no understanding of. IIMB equipped us with core skills - analytical rigor, clarity in communication, strong strategic constructs, how to collaborate and work effectively in organizations..and even while we didn't realize it then, the muscle memory of this rigor helped us every step of our careers. But IIM Bangalore is special to us for more than the expected. It is also where we met, 26 years ago; and where our parents on both sides met, as we graduated. This is where our very own Two States story was written. It is to honor the profound impact IIMB has had - not just on us, but on our two families, that we were delighted to offer a contribution in the name of our parents. We are thrilled with IIMB's commitment to expand their platform to reach and shape even more lives. Congratulations and Thank you.
I feel very blessed to be able to support the institute in my own small way to achieve their objective. Education and gender parity are two of the key pillars for the future progress of the country. I would do my best to keep supporting these areas. I want to thank the institute to help me reach today where I am to facilitate the objective.

Grounded in the Group’s commitment of “Committed to People, Committed to the Future.”, we are building a robust team of engineers who will acquire and expand their skillset working on advanced Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and IoT technologies.
I'm forever indebted to NSRCEL at IIMB. They gave my startup and me an opportunity 10 years ago which made me the entrepreneur I'm today.
NSRCEL & IIMB have continued to make a bigger and bigger impact on the startup community at large.
I will continue to support IIMB's initiatives financially and otherwise.
National E-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) is an Information Utility regulated by The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) under the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). One of the objectives behind creation of the IU was to remove information asymmetry which in the Indian context is often a critical barrier to fair negotiations between debtor and creditor when creditor is unable to service its debt obligations. The IU as conceptualised in the Code has no parallel anywhere in the world.
NeSL’s Digital Document Execution or DDE platform provides for digital execution, storage and access of contracts. It marks a paradigm shift towards a seamless but secure digital lending as its e-stamped as per legal requirements. It’s paperless, contactless and enhances the customer experience. It also promotes sustainability by obviating the need for paper. As per our estimates, till date, NESL’ s DDE has saved more than 2500 trees.
It’s therefore quite appropriate that we promote cleaner and environment friendly transport systems. The EV Charging station at IIM Bangalore, funded by us as part of our CSR Activity, was inaugurated on the 23rd of February, 2023 by Hon’ble President NCLT, Chief Justice (Retd) Shri Ramlingam Sudhakar in the august presence of Hon’ble Justice Kannan Ramesh, Judge, Appellate Division, Supreme Court of Singapore and Judge, Singapore International Commercial Court, Chairperson IBBI, Shri Ravi Mital, Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore, Whole Time members of IBBI, Shri Sudhaker Shukla and Shri Jayanti Prasad, EDs of IBBI, ED of NeSL Smt E. Capgemini has always considered itself a front-runner in the Digital Transformation space by ensuring that technology and innovation can be leveraged to create sustainable solutions and an equitable society for all. Our Digital Inclusion program relies on two pillars: bridging the digital divide and using technology to ensure social and sustainable development for everyone.
We are able to fulfil this commitment in a major way through our partnership with IIM-B’s NSRCEL initiative as this venture allows start-ups, co-working ventures, eminent academicians from its parent institution IIM-B, and researchers, to build an active support ecosystem for early-stage entrepreneurs and thus act as an incubator for new business ideas. Helping support early-stage social ventures with innovative solutions to tackle the country’s pressing social problems through scalable and sustainable business models helps us maintain our commitment towards a sustainable and equitable future for all.
Capgemini truly supports the entrepreneurial mindset we have witnessed in each of these social ventures and truly hopes this partnership with IIM-B will help created a significant and long-lasting impact on our society.
Innovation continues to be an essential catalyst and a critical driver for economic growth, especially for emerging economies like India. Many leading and ‘future ready’ organisations are now focusing on an enabling culture and a reward and recognition mechanism to drive innovation. A lot of successful legacy organisations are fostering an innovation-based culture and have ‘institutionalised’ innovation within the organisation and among the stakeholders. Start-ups in India are creating a vibrant eco-system for innovation to thrive.
We believe that education and research plays a major role in driving innovation in the society. And this is where institutions like IIM Bengaluru can contribute significantly to the cause. With the larger aim of advancement of Research and Teaching in the areas of innovation and leadership, in 2021, we instituted the Ram Charan Chair at IIM Bengaluru. I am sure with our combined vision of fuelling innovation and leadership, the Ram Charan Chair will contribute immensely to enriching management education and driving innovation capability amongst Indian organisations.
