IIMB Archives
The IIMB Oral History Narratives project is a record of the history of the institute through the memories and accounts of people who were part of its journey at various stages, and who contributed to its growth in their own way. This is an ongoing project and the Archives aims to be a repository of diverse voices – of former faculty, board members, alumni, staff, and others associated with the institute.
Each interview – either video or audio -- is about an hour long, and is stored in the IIMB Archives. Excerpts from the interviews and conversations are presented below. Following is a playlist of the excerpts from the archived interviews.

The XVIII International Conference on Public Policy and Management was hosted on 21st to 24th August 2023 which saw a series of expert talks, academic sessions, and panels discussions. Prof. K. Kumar heading the IIMB History Project gives a talk on the history of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and describes how the institute has evolved over the past 50 years into one of the world’s leading business schools.
