Language Workshop for JLCCS Participants at IIMB
The JLCC Cohort 1 workshops were an integral part of the program, designed to provide a blend of linguistic mastery, cultural exposure, and community building. Conducted in March, June, and October, these workshops featured:
- Language Labs: Using the World Café methodology, participants honed their grammar and vocabulary in interactive sessions, culminating in the ability to deliver 90-second speeches on assigned topics.
- Cultural Immersion: Activities like Ikebana, Origami, chopstick etiquette, and business card exchanges offered hands-on insights into Japanese traditions and social norms.
- Networking Opportunities: Participants connected with peers, mentors, and fellow learners, creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
These workshops not only enhanced language skills but also deepened participants' appreciation for Japanese culture, leaving a lasting impact on their learning journey
